IWFM Impact Awards 2023

Winner of the Frontline Heroes Award

Our very own Jackie Kennedy won the coveted Frontline Heroes category at the IWFM Impact Awards, held on Monday 16th October 2023 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.

Jackie has been a valued member of our cleaning team at the EET Fuels Refinery in Stanlow, Cheshire, for 13 years, but it is her selfless and community-minded spirit that won over the IWFM judges.

Jackie continuously thinks of ways to raise money for good causes, as well as devoting her own time to support those who are less fortunate.

Global FM Awards of Excellence 2023

Winners of the Highly Commended Award

The Global FM Awards of Excellence shines a light on organisations for their commitment and success in the world of FM practice. In 2023, our progressive approach to employee catering won us the ‘Highly Commended’ award, particularly referencing our ‘Putting Wellbeing at its Heart’ project.

For this, we partnered with the University of Cambridge to design and introduce PACE labelling on each dish, which explains to our client’s employees how many steps they’d need to take to use up its calories.

Rising Star Award 2023

WeAreTheCity’s Rising Star Award winner

Congratulations to our Culinary Lead Gemma Evans-Hurley, one of this year’s WeAreTheCity’s Rising Star Award winners. The Rising Star Awards are one of the first to focus on the UK’s female talent pipeline, recognising industry trailblazers and role models. It comes as no surprise to us that Gemma was nominated for her exceptional culinary talent and ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.

Using her passion to encourage others, Gemma has helped us build our Women in Food initiative, which aims to tackle the shortage of female chefs in the industry, into a community of nearly 300 employees - up from just six in 2021. A fantastic achievement!
