Premises & Facilities Management Awards 2023
Great news for the 14forty team - we've scored a double win at this year's Premises & Facilities Management Awards (PFM). Two of our outstanding team members, Ian and Jackie, demonstrated their unwavering dedication and managed to snag not one but two well-deserved trophies.
Ian Hillard, Transition Director at the Essar Oil refinery in Stanlow, Cheshire, won Account Director of the Year. His success is a tribute to his visionary leadership and innovative contributions to a crucial catering and industrial cleaning program at the refinery.
Ian's brainchild, the 'Super Village', streamlined operations, ensuring nutritious dishes were served in under a minute, all while keeping safety a top priority.
From loose change to changing lives
Our second triumph celebrated the remarkable dedication of one of our cleaning operatives, Jackie Kennedy, who received the Special Recognition Award.
Alongside Jackie’s diligent work at the Essar refinery, she managed to raise £200 for Ukrainian refugees by collecting spare change from the floor while doing her cleaning duties.
This inspired one of Essar's subcontractors to expand the initiative across their European sites, raising a remarkable £110,000 for the German Red Cross.
Outside of work, she supports young people dealing with homelessness or substance abuse issues, offering them emergency accommodation and a listening ear.
This double victory is not only a testament to our team’s outstanding dedication but also to the core values and commitment to making a positive impact that defines the 14forty brand. A huge thank you to Ian and Jackie on their well-deserved wins!
