Shaking up the FM industry

In 2013, a vision was conceived to launch a value-led, truly integrated facilities management service.  A trusted partner you could rely on, every minute of every day (1,440 to be precise). 14forty was born - launched to the Industry press championing a new brand of facilities service to businesses seeking value, transparency, expertise and simplicity.

Expanding & integrating service lines with current clients was the mission, sustained by the might of 14forty’s parent company, Compass Group UK&I. Their industry-leading food and hospitality services were already embedded within businesses across the United Kingdom.

Successful introductions of the 14forty model were welcomed within several prestigious contracts, including GE, EET Fuels, and DLA Piper, who remain valued partners to this day. Over the years that followed, 14forty would bolster its dedicated resource, embrace technology and fine-tune its operational delivery, developing a culture of steady, continual improvement in the process.

The biggest challenges were yet to come

Brexit, the Covid-19 pandemic and a recognition of the critical nature of climate change provoked another period of reflection. Coinciding with the businesses’ 10th anniversary, a new directive was set, one that would drive 14forty to continue exceeding today's expectations, whilst remodelling our approach to overcome the challenges of tomorrow…

So, to our new vision: ‘To be recognised for championing impactful 'people and planet-first' initiatives within an industry-acclaimed Integrated FM delivery model.’

To achieve this vision, we established our guiding ethos - FIRST - reinforcing the way we aspire to do business.
